About the Role

The role is responsible for assisting in growing the customer base by selling a variety of products and services to new and existing customers. The incumbent also helps train new Inside Sales Representatives on product knowledge and system usage. Under limited supervision, the employee modifies processes to resolve situations, relying on experience and independent judgment to determine the best approach. Work typically involves periodic review of output by a supervisor or direct customers, and the individual may provide guidance, training, and technical assistance to junior staff without hiring authority. • Interact with walk‑in and telephone customers; provide sales and quotation support and upsell products/services. • Provide technical support on product applications and prepare customer orders for pickup, delivery, and showroom. • Train new staff on products, computer systems, and customer interactions. • Assist branch management with managerial tasks in their absence. • Perform cash and sales transactions, enter orders accurately, and conduct parts lookups using manufacturer software. • Ship and track orders, maintain rental inventory records, ensure monthly billing, assist with physical inventories, and stock showroom shelves. • Maintain technical knowledge through publications, product knowledge meetings, and educational workshops. • Follow all safety practices as outlined in the health and safety manual.

What You Bring

The position is based in a comfortable indoor area with mostly sedentary work, occasional movement, and occasional lifting of light articles. Travel is minimal, typically less than 5% overnight. A technical certification or associate degree may be required in some areas, and generally 5‑7 years of relevant experience is expected.
