About the Role
The Retail Operations Analyst (levels I‑III) is responsible for managing high‑volume order‑to‑cash functions, ensuring accurate pricing, billing, contract compliance, payment processing, and customer service while meeting SOX controls and service level agreements. The role requires collaboration with IT, project groups, and cross‑functional teams, and involves process improvement, requirement gathering, user‑acceptance testing, and change‑management activities. • Manage high‑volume order‑to‑cash tasks such as data maintenance, pricing, billing, contract processing, and payment posting • Ensure SOX compliance and accurate revenue recognition for customer transactions • Respond to internal and external customer inquiries, providing timely resolutions • Conduct root‑cause analysis of process discrepancies and implement corrective actions • Collaborate with team members, IT, and cross‑functional groups to support business changes • Identify and document business requirements and participate in user‑acceptance testing • Drive automation and process improvements, challenging the status quo • Maintain knowledge of regulatory, contractual, and market policies affecting workflows

What You Bring
• Attend required travel, in‑person training, and all‑hands meetings • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field (or equivalent experience) • 2–5+ years relevant experience depending on level (Analyst I‑III) • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel (pivot tables, macros, VLOOKUP) • Effective verbal and written communication with internal and external stakeholders • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage workload • Understanding of customer service principles and process improvement • Experience in retail or regulated energy industry and with CRM/Order‑to‑Cash systems (preferred) • Knowledge of UDC/ISO/LDC market EDI transactions and SQL/database queries (preferred) • Proficiency with additional tools such as Access, Visio, PeopleSoft, Hyperion, eSourcing (preferred) • Demonstrated ability to map processes and implement efficiencies • Adaptability to changing environments and ability to make independent decisions
