About the Role

The Senior Research Consultant (Associate Research Consultant) manages a portfolio of commercial‑real‑estate contacts and ensures that property listings, lease and sale transactions in CoStar’s database are current, accurate, and complete. The role involves daily outreach—conducting 50 + inbound and outbound calls with brokers, owners, developers, and other professionals—to capture real‑time market information, verify details from multiple sources, and update owner profiles and construction projects. The consultant also partners with clients to help them market properties on the CoStar platform and provides world‑class customer service. This position works in the office Monday through Friday. • Contribute to growth of an accurate and complete commercial real‑estate inventory database. • Conduct 50+ daily inbound and outbound calls with brokers, developers, investors, and other professionals to obtain real‑time property and transaction data. • Investigate new space listings, recent sale and lease transactions, building ownership, and construction projects. • Build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with clients. • Partner with clients to position and market their properties on the CoStar platform. • Analyze trends and collaborate with regional teams to qualify data that tells the story of a market.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited, not‑for‑profit university or college. • Minimum 8 months experience in a customer‑service environment. • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel 365, including data manipulation and basic formulas. • Ability to work flexible shifts aligned with ET, CT, MT, and PT time zones. • Demonstrated strong academic performance and a track record of commitment to prior employers. • Natural curiosity and persistence for thorough investigative research. • Proven ability to meet metrics or key performance indicators. • Strong verbal communication with internal partners and external clients. • Goal‑oriented, able to manage multiple responsibilities and adapt to changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment. • Skilled at conducting effective interviews with commercial‑real‑estate professionals to update the database. • Customer‑focused mindset with a drive to partner with clients. • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. • Knowledge or experience in the commercial real‑estate industry. • Capability to accurately capture and enter data.
