About the Role

Key responsibilities include creating and executing communication strategies, handling media inquiries, producing marketing materials, and engaging community and external stakeholders. The position also oversees internal communications such as employee newsletters, BayTV slides, and Town Hall meetings, and coordinates events, tours, and visitor logistics, including agenda management, payment processing, and safety compliance. • Develop and execute communication strategies using written content, video, and photography. • Handle media inquiries and create marketing materials. • Manage community and external stakeholder engagement. • Support planning and communication for events, tours, and site visits, including agenda and payment processing. • Coordinate logistics and on‑site management for external events. • Oversee internal communications such as employee newsletters, BayTV slides, InfoZone flyers, and Town Hall meetings. • Organize and execute tours, tailoring talking points for diverse stakeholder groups. • Build and maintain an internal technical expert network for visitor interests. • Produce, film, edit, and script videos, including tour talking points. • Create graphics and collaborate with external partners (e.g., NuPoint) for communications. • Provide administrative business support, including document organization and stakeholder interaction tracking. • Manage event swag inventory and enforce site safety policies.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or a related field, and has 1‑3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a public relations agency or corporate setting.
