About the Role
As the Regional Process and Transformation Lead you will be accountable for delivering Service Operations business‑process projects across APAC. You will work closely with the Hub Operations Manager and senior APAC leadership to align project goals with corporate objectives and to drive continual improvement. The role serves as the primary strategic link between the regional hub and the Global Business Process Owner, turning global strategies into actionable regional plans. You will design, develop and roll out complex new processes and digital solutions that are standardized, efficient and locally relevant. You will champion process excellence by identifying standardisation opportunities, incorporating best practices and gathering feedback from subject‑matter experts. Cross‑functional harmonisation and digitisation will be overseen through robust governance mechanisms that ensure compliance and accountability. As a change champion you will promote adoption via targeted training and communication together with HR and training teams. Adoption performance will be tracked with data‑driven insights and aligned with budgetary goals. All methodologies, best practices and documentation will be maintained to support ongoing process maturity. You will also lead the implementation of business‑unit strategy, policies and procedures to enhance project delivery and governance, and continuously seek optimisation and efficiency gains. Living these values means taking responsibility for your actions while caring for colleagues and the business. • Deliver Service Operations business‑process projects across APAC and align them with corporate objectives. • Translate global strategies into detailed regional implementation plans as the link to the Global Business Process Owner. • Design, develop and implement standardized, efficient business processes and digital solutions tailored to local needs. • Champion process excellence by identifying standardisation opportunities, incorporating best practices and gathering SME feedback. • Establish governance mechanisms to ensure compliance, accountability and cross‑functional process harmonisation. • Lead change adoption through targeted training, communication and collaboration with HR and training teams. • Monitor process adoption with data‑driven insights and align improvement initiatives with budgetary goals. • Ensure compliance with external/internal regulations and uphold Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, engineering, operations management or a related field, and brings at least ten years of project‑management experience. Over five years of experience in business‑process management, especially in integrating, digitising and transforming processes at a regional or global scale, is preferred. A Lean Six Sigma certification, strong analytical and communication skills, and fluency in English are required, and willingness to travel is expected. Experience in the energy, technology or industrial sectors and a track record of leading cross‑functional teams are highly valued. • Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, engineering, operations management or a related field. • Possess 10+ years of project‑management experience and 5+ years in business‑process management or digital transformation. • Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams in the energy, technology or industrial sectors. • Lean Six Sigma certification with experience in service or shared‑service environments. • Strong analytical, communication and data‑driven decision‑making skills; fluent in English and willing to travel.
