About the Role

• Supervise site activities and provide NEC contract management as delegated NEC Supervisor. • Ensure all work complies with scope, standards, regulations, and stage‑gate processes. • Manage work orders from award through completion, including subcontractor review and acceptance. • Review and approve contractor Quality Management Plans, ITPs, method statements, and risk assessments. • Represent the site daily to guarantee safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible operations. • Coordinate inspection and testing activities, monitor quality, and address non‑conformances. • Liaise with client operations regarding access, storage, and worksite arrangements. • Inspect, sign off completed works, and verify as‑built records and test documentation. • Monitor contractor performance, track progress, and maintain detailed site diaries and photo records. • Support the Project Manager with compensation events, reporting, and progress meetings. • Promote HSSE, participate in safety tours, and contribute to continuous improvement and quality archiving.

What You Bring

• Minimum 10 years experience, including 5 years in Project Engineering and NEC 3/4 supervision on large rail or similar infrastructure projects. • Proven ability to monitor contractor/consultant performance and apply performance‑management frameworks. • Experience in claims management and developing KPI libraries for contractor/consultant organisations. • Knowledge of executing NEC contracts and implementing contract‑management strategies. • In‑depth NEC 3/4 contract management experience on complex infrastructure (rail, tunnelling, civils/structures preferred). • Leadership capability to manage a team. • Strong report‑writing and presentation skills. • Familiarity with CEMAR. • Minimum Level 8 (or equivalent) degree in Law, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction, or Project Management. • Chartered membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., Engineers Ireland, RICS) and NEC 3/4 ECC Supervision accreditation.
