About the Role

The Property Manager for multifamily communities is tasked with maintaining properties to market‑ready standards while delivering high‑level service. This role also drives team performance to maximize property results. Key responsibilities include overseeing daily operations such as maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy planning, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, and audits. The manager ensures smooth community functioning in a fast‑paced environment. Delivering superior customer service and communication to residents and prospects is essential for enhancing satisfaction, renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability. The manager completes lease and renewal paperwork to company standards and monitors advertising effectiveness and prospect traffic. Leadership duties involve recruiting, training, mentoring, and retaining a cohesive on‑site team across leasing, customer service, maintenance, and management, while modeling Cushman & Wakefield’s mission. The manager analyses competition and creates innovative marketing programs to drive occupancy and revenue. • Supervise all community functions—maintenance, capital projects, lease administration, budgeting, collections, marketing, and audits. • Deliver high‑quality customer service to boost resident satisfaction, renewals, and overall profitability. • Prepare and process lease and renewal documents in line with corporate standards. • Monitor advertising performance and manage prospect traffic to optimize occupancy. • Recruit, train, mentor, and retain a high‑performing on‑site team across leasing, service, and maintenance. • Analyze market competition and launch creative marketing initiatives to increase occupancy. • Enforce Cushman & Wakefield policies and procedures in day‑to‑day operations. • Manage community budgets, forecasts, and expense controls to achieve financial targets. • Resolve resident conflicts promptly and maintain a positive living environment. • Collaborate with leasing staff to meet and exceed leasing and marketing goals. • Maintain accurate resident files and documentation according to company standards.

What You Bring

Effective communication, computer literacy, and strong oral and written skills are required, along with the ability to set leasing goals, supervise daily operations, and manage a team. A Bachelor’s degree and real‑estate license are preferred; at least three years of property management and management experience are required. The position operates in a professional office setting with standard equipment and involves regular travel up to 15 % of the time.
