About the Role

The Claims & Office Administrator at NearU’s Branch Services Center ensures smooth daily office operations while managing the full lifecycle of Workers’ Compensation, General Liability, and Automotive claims. The role provides consistent administrative and claims support to branch teams, delivering timely, accurate, and reliable service and reinforcing NearU’s safety culture. Working closely with Human Resources, branch teams, and cross‑functional partners, the administrator serves as the first point of contact for employees, vendors, and visitors, and supports onboarding, event planning, and equipment management. The position operates in an office setting Monday‑Thursday with optional remote work on Friday. • Manage the entire lifecycle of Workers’ Compensation, Automotive, and General Liability claims, including documentation, follow‑up, and stakeholder communication. • Lead monthly claims review calls to facilitate resolution and expedite closures. • Provide guidance to branches on claims procedures and identify workflow improvements. • Prepare and deliver weekly and quarterly claims reports. • Serve as first point of contact for employees, vendors, and visitors, delivering professional customer service. • Oversee daily office operations: mail handling, supply ordering, workspace organization, and vendor coordination. • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including badge creation and coordination with HR/IT. • Monitor office equipment, arrange repairs, and manage service requests. • Assist planning and execution of BSC and company‑wide events, handling logistics, materials, and communications. • Create and edit content for team initiatives and communications.

What You Bring

• Minimum 2 years experience in claims processing and office administration. • Strong organizational, detail‑oriented, and multitasking abilities. • Excellent written and verbal communication with a service‑oriented approach. • Proficient in Microsoft Office; able to navigate multiple systems and portals accurately. • Preferred: background in construction, insurance, safety, compliance, or supporting distributed teams. • Demonstrate ownership, service‑driven mindset, process discipline, confidentiality, and collaborative teamwork.
