About the Role
The role involves designing architectural systems from concept stage to meet business, statutory, legal and contractual requirements, while acting as a technical assurance manager to ensure contractors maintain design principles throughout development and construction. The position also supports the relevant area, discipline or specialism using sound technical and functional capabilities. • Develop and manage planning and building regulation applications. • Identify and implement continuous process improvements. • Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. • Manage stakeholders and deliverables through direct reports. • Provide designs and oversee design development per contract requirements. • Collaborate with design disciplines, client personnel, and construction teams. • Assist in producing reporting information. • Attend client meetings and design workshops as needed. • Monitor work outputs for timeliness, scope, and quality. • Engage with business improvement directives. • Contribute to net‑zero carbon transition by managing carbon emissions and reductions.
