Job Highlights
About the Role
• Receive service calls, diagnose equipment and system malfunctions, and contact customers. • Perform service, repairs, and preventative maintenance on fire alarm systems for commercial, industrial, and residential applications. • Partner with Service Team Manager to ensure timely, high‑quality technical work. • Conduct routine inspections, testing, installation, and programming of low‑voltage life‑safety equipment. • Complete service acknowledgments and documentation using laptops or hard copy. • Follow a structured inspection schedule and archive records accurately. • Make minor repairs and programming changes under authorized supervision. • Meet flexible work hours, including on‑call rotation, nights, and weekends, and travel as required. • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and product manuals.

What You Bring
• Extensive product knowledge and on‑the‑job/cross‑training opportunities. • Possess 5‑7 years documented fire alarm system experience and ability to obtain required licenses. • Use hand tools and multimeters proficiently; troubleshoot and repair systems. • Physically capable of lifting 50‑70 lb and working at heights up to 40 ft in confined spaces. • Demonstrate strong customer service, organizational skills, positive attitude, and quick learning ability. • Preferred qualifications: repair experience and NICET certification.
