About the Role
• Manage the repair and maintenance of company‑owned and customer equipment, including yard organization (Ready to Rent, Returned, Down) • Prepare work schedules and handle service calls to meet customer needs and ensure equipment availability • Order parts to maintain adequate supplies • Provide training and assistance to staff mechanics • Work with equipment vendors to learn maintenance requirements and capabilities of new inventory • Evaluate all equipment after repairs, maintenance, or safety checks • Document equipment status before and after rental • Handle customer complaints regarding equipment condition or operation • Promote safety awareness • Perform quality control checks • Update, maintain, and organize equipment service records • Create, update, close, and bill work orders • File warranty claims in a timely fashion • Commission new equipment • Order parts, return parts, and perform parts inventory • Dispose of solid and hazardous material waste (batteries, used oil & filters, antifreeze, wash sludge) • Generate equipment‑due‑for‑service report • Generate fleet status report • Generate equipment service record report • Generate open work order report • Generate warranty claim summary report • Generate inventory management report • Generate parts & merchandise detail reporting • Generate financial and historical trending report • Generate service department financial summary • Generate shop foreman performance tool report • Generate work order chargeback report • Generate halt report • Generate open purchase‑order report • Generate tech paid hours vs. worked hour report

What You Bring
The position requires a valid driver’s license and the physical ability to bend, squat, lift 50 pounds or more, and work both indoors and outdoors as needed.
