About the Role

The Underground Foreman supports all phases of utility construction on telecom projects, ensuring work is done right and upholding the highest standards of quality. You will lead crews on outdoor sites, troubleshoot issues in the field, and oversee the complete construction process from start to finish. • Perform outdoor utility construction work and troubleshoot field issues. • Train crew on tools and equipment. • Operate machinery such as backhoes, dozers, cable plows, air compressors, trenchers, and hydraulic reel trailers. • Manage all aspects of job-site construction.

What You Bring

We seek candidates who prioritize safety daily, have a proven track record of delivering high-quality work, and possess strong problem-solving abilities. Experience with long-term telecom projects, knowledge of coax and fiber splicing, directional drilling, and both aerial and underground construction is essential, as is the ability to coach and mentor team members. Relevant military MOS codes (12H, 3E251, 3E271, 4305) are a plus. • Build, repair, and maintain utility construction projects using construction knowledge. • Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach. • Experience with long-term telecom construction projects. • Ability to coach and mentor team members. • Knowledge of coax/fiber splicing, directional drilling, aerial and underground construction. • Relevant military MOS codes (12H, 3E251, 3E271, 4305).
