About the Role
AECOM is seeking a Senior Manager of Internal Communications for the Americas region to drive employee engagement, organizational alignment, and leadership visibility within a complex, matrixed environment. The role provides strategic communications leadership, creates compelling content, engages executives and stakeholders, manages digital platforms, and oversees change, transformation, and crisis communications. • Lead strategic internal communications across the Americas region. • Develop and tell compelling stories through content creation. • Engage executives and stakeholders to ensure leadership visibility. • Manage digital platforms and multi‑channel communication tools. • Drive change, transformation, and crisis communications initiatives. • Build relationships through active listening, empathy, and emotional intelligence.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a BA/BS and have at least 10 years of internal communications experience in a large global organization, with a minimum of two years in leadership. Proven expertise in developing integrated communication plans, a strong writing portfolio, and success partnering with senior leaders are required, while experience in change communications and prior work in infrastructure or professional services firms is preferred. • Deliver strategic messaging and storytelling with exceptional written and verbal skills. • Demonstrate digital proficiency in internal communication platforms. • Minimum: BA/BS and 10+ years internal communications experience in a complex global organization. • Minimum: 2+ years leadership experience and proven strategic communication planning. • Minimum: Strong writing portfolio showcasing internal and executive communications. • Minimum: Success partnering with senior leaders and managing multi‑channel communications. • Preferred: Experience in change communications. • Preferred: Background in large, complex global infrastructure or professional services firms.
