MEP (Electrical) Manager - Data Centre
Lead electrical MEP delivery for a large data centre, managing design, construction and commissioning.

About the Role
The role being recruited is a MEP (electrical) manager for a large data‑centre project based in London. The manager will oversee, coordinate and be accountable for all MEP‑related issues on the site, working at the forefront of data‑centre construction management. • Uphold and communicate Mace health, safety, and environmental standards to all reports and contractors • Collaborate with the commercial team on procurement strategy • Issue and verify work packages in line with the client’s scope of works • Review mechanical design and flag issues against Mace standards or client requirements • Coordinate with planning to develop robust, buildable schedules • Implement and update programme and production control (PPC) as required • Identify prefabrication opportunities with design team and contractors • Ensure mechanical construction meets client and Mace QA/QC standards • Oversee system reviews, completion and commissioning readiness with the Cx team • Support senior management in efficient project handover • Align project delivery with business objectives, timeliness and profitability targets • Cascade all M&E changes throughout the project • Attend leadership meetings to discuss and implement project targets • Provide weekly and monthly reports to senior management

What You Bring
• Hold an engineering degree and membership in a professional body (e.g., CIBSE or IET) or an HND in building services • Be digitally savvy, capable of building lasting client relationships and leading motivated teams • Possess a construction or project‑management background with ambition to grow your career
