About the Role
The Aviation Project Manager will serve as the principal point of contact with the client, ensure effective communication among the project team, stakeholders and owners, and be willing to relocate within California based on project location. • Lead construction, commissioning, ORAT, and closeout phases of complex landside and airside airport projects. • Manage project scope, budget, schedule, risk, safety, and change management. • Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders, regulators, and community partners. • Oversee construction teams delivering large infrastructure projects. • Serve as primary client contact and ensure clear communication among all parties. • Relocate to California as required by project location.

What You Bring
The role requires management experience across construction, commissioning, ORAT and closeout phases of complex landside and airside projects, as well as a solid understanding of architectural, design, engineering, and systems elements of airport facilities. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to build collaborative relationships with stakeholders, regulators, and communities, lead construction teams on large infrastructure projects, and provide oversight of scope, budget, schedule, risk, safety and change management. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction or a related technical field, 12+ years of experience in large‑scale construction with at least one major airport project, and a technical and operations background. Professional registration or certifications may be required, and candidates must be able to obtain Parsons’ project management certification while demonstrating strong management and communication skills. Security clearance is not required for this position, which is part of Parsons’ Critical Infrastructure team that has delivered essential projects worldwide for over 80 years, improving communities through economic growth, mobility, sustainability and resiliency. • Hold a bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and 12+ years of large‑scale construction experience, including a major airport project. • Possess a technical/operations background and relevant professional registration or certifications. • Obtain or maintain Parsons project management certification. • Demonstrate strong management capabilities and excellent written and oral communication skills.
