About the Role

The lead will serve as the central intake and prioritization point for all Digital Services project demand, establishing a structured framework for evaluating, sequencing, and governing work intake. They will lead capacity forecasting, workload balancing, and resource planning across both project and non‑project work, and facilitate governance forums such as the Digital Advisory Council to ensure alignment, transparency, and disciplined decision‑making. This work improves visibility into portfolio health, delivery commitments, and execution trade‑offs. Building and operationalizing Milton CAT’s first Digital Services PMO is a core responsibility, including the definition of standards for how work is run across the organization. The lead will develop and implement consistent delivery practices such as project governance models, stage‑gate controls, standard templates, reporting cadences, and governance for non‑project work, while also providing enablement and coaching to project managers and delivery teams to raise consistency and maturity. When required, the lead will directly manage high‑impact programs and projects as the assigned Project Manager, driving execution across cross‑functional teams to deliver outcomes on time, within scope, and aligned with business priorities. They will act as a trusted delivery partner to both IT and business stakeholders. Collaboration with business leaders is essential to understand needs and translate them into structured, executable demand, ensuring Digital Services delivers measurable value, adoption, and operational improvement. Milton CAT is seeking a highly capable and execution‑oriented Portfolio & PMO Governance Lead to establish the organization’s first Digital Services PMO and portfolio governance function. The role serves as the single front door for demand intake, prioritization, and capacity planning, while also owning vendor lifecycle governance, IT financial discipline, and audit/compliance readiness across Digital Services. In addition to leading governance and structure, the individual will act as a hands‑on Program/Project Manager, directly driving key initiatives to successful delivery. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in information systems, business administration, or a related field, and bring at least ten years of experience in portfolio management, PMO leadership, or enterprise IT delivery. Proven ability to build and scale governance functions, strong demand and capacity planning expertise, and demonstrated success as a hands‑on program or project manager are required, alongside excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑influence skills. Preferred experience includes work within enterprise application environments such as ERP, CRM, WMS, or HRIS, familiarity with vendor‑managed service models and contract renewal oversight, and background supporting audit readiness, compliance governance, or operational risk controls. Exposure to digital transformation initiatives, industrial or construction environments, and advanced certifications (PMP, Six Sigma, Lean) are advantageous. • Require a bachelor’s degree in information systems, business administration, or related field and 10+ years of relevant experience. • Demonstrated ability to build and scale governance functions, strong demand and capacity planning expertise, and hands‑on program/project management success. • Preferred experience with enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, WMS, HRIS), vendor‑managed services, audit/compliance readiness, and digital transformation initiatives. • Advanced certifications such as PMP, Six Sigma, or Lean are a plus.

Benefits

The position offers a salary range of $150,000 to $175,000 annually and is eligible for bonus compensation. • Salary range $150,000–$175,000 annually with bonus eligibility.
