About the Role

The role is responsible for managing innovation projects, facilitating workshops, and guiding employees to contribute innovative ideas from research to deployment. It includes overseeing project schedules, KPIs, testing solutions, and coordinating with stakeholders such as legal and security teams. • Explore innovation opportunities via research, campaigns, and academic sources, assessing viability and strategic alignment. • Project manage innovation initiatives, facilitating team and workshop activities with subject‑matter experts and business leaders. • Define and communicate project schedules, activities, and key performance indicators. • Lead and guide project teams in implementing activities while fostering collaboration and idea generation. • Plan, execute, document, track, and measure project work to meet KPIs. • Test and evaluate project results to validate alignment with initial hypotheses. • Manage transition of solutions, monitoring progress with stakeholders and support functions (Legal, IS Security). • Engage stakeholders to increase understanding of innovation initiatives and technology impact. • Develop continuous learning channels on emerging technologies (IoT, AI, ML, robotics). • Manage internal R&D and maintain external partnerships with technology leaders and universities.

What You Bring

The Innovation division seeks a manager based in New York, NY, requiring at least five years of experience. This salaried exempt role is classified as experienced, with a bachelor’s degree minimum and a preference for advanced degrees. The position reports to the Director of Innovation or Innovation Manager at headquarters and involves minimal travel (0‑10%). Physical demands include frequent sitting, computer work, occasional mobility and lifting up to 10 lb (occasionally 25 lb).
