About the Role
The Sales Account Manager role for Kimberly‑Clark Professional covers the Illinois territory, requiring candidates to reside in the Chicagoland area. This position focuses on driving regional strategy, meeting financial targets, and delivering best‑in‑class experiences for customers of iconic brands such as Kleenex®, Scott®, Cottonelle®, and WypAll®. In this field‑based role, you will sell branded towel, tissue, and manufactured‑wiper products to office buildings, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, lodging, and manufacturing customers, primarily through face‑to‑face interactions with end‑users and distribution partners. Daily activities include prospecting large end‑user accounts, building strategic relationships with distributors and Distributor Sales Representatives, and leveraging digital technologies like video, AI, and social media to generate leads, understand customer needs, and position both existing and new solutions. • Identify and prospect large end‑user accounts across office, healthcare, education, lodging, and manufacturing sectors. • Build and maintain strategic relationships with distribution partners and Distributor Sales Representatives. • Leverage digital technologies (video, AI, social media) to generate leads and represent the KCP brand. • Engage existing customers to understand needs, buying behavior, and position current and new products. • Collaborate with Distribution Management and DSRs to develop joint sales opportunities. • Utilize end‑user marketing insights and centrally developed campaigns to close new business.

What You Bring
Qualifications include at least three years of outside or inside sales experience, a high school diploma (Bachelor’s preferred), proficiency with Salesforce Lightning and digital selling platforms, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel up to 60% locally and 15% overnight; functional skills such as digital selling, business acumen, results orientation, agility, relationship building, and analytical reasoning are essential. • 3+ years of outside or inside sales experience. • High school diploma (Bachelor’s preferred) and valid driver’s license. • Proficiency with Salesforce Lightning and pipeline management tools. • Experience with digital, virtual, or social selling platforms. • Willingness to travel up to 60% locally and 15% overnight. • Strong digital selling, business acumen, results orientation, agility, relationship building, and analytical reasoning skills.
