About the Role

The Shift Engineer (Technical Work Dynamics) role puts safety in your hands. You will plan and execute all preparations needed for effective total preventive and predictive maintenance of electro‑mechanical equipment, ensuring a safer and more comfortable work environment. You will be mobile, performing daily facility check‑ins, quickly identifying and repairing issues, and coordinating with vendors to resolve service problems. Reporting, incident communication and adherence to JLL’s EHS and reporting standards are essential parts of the day. • Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures for critical environments • Interpret engineering designs and operational aspects of utility systems • Identify system shortcomings and respond to operational or emergency situations • Execute Planned Preventive Maintenance according to schedule • Implement and manage risk and safety work practices, adhering to EHS/HSSE guidelines • Conduct regular inspections on energy conservation, maintenance, utility and risk management • Run preventive maintenance programs to minimize sudden equipment failures • Train on‑site teams on equipment procedures and implementation • Support service delivery teams with equipment upkeep • Inspect regularly to verify compliance with procedures and update as needed • Communicate incidents and operational issues to staff and managers, seeking management support when required • Follow JLL reporting procedures and maintain required documentation • Verify building compliance and keep records up to date • Maintain log books, PPM reports and checklists on site • Monitor ad‑hoc jobs and minor project work • Contribute to best‑practice development, training materials and standardized tools • Produce daily, weekly and monthly MIS reports • Prepare MMR, track PO/PR and monitor SLA performance

What You Bring

The position requires a BE/B.Tech (Electrical/Mechanical/Electromechanical) with at least three years of building facility management experience, or a diploma with four years, preferably in the IT/ITes sector. Strong teamwork, core facilities‑management skills and a drive to implement best practices are key. • Minimum 3 years (BE/B.Tech) or 4 years (Diploma) experience in building facility management, preferably IT/ITes • Prefer tertiary qualifications in facilities or building management or business • Demonstrate strong teamwork, ability to drive positive change and implement improvements
