About the Role

The Timekeeper is tasked with entering and tracking the work hours of all on‑site employees and supporting daily activities that contribute to project success. Mechanical, industrial, or construction experience is preferred, and the role requires knowledge of safety hazards associated with plant operations or construction sites. Key duties include processing timesheets, reconciling badge‑in/out data with field supervisor reports, correcting discrepancies, and handling payroll‑related distributions such as per diem and checks. The Timekeeper also generates absentee reports, updates employee records, and manages the flow of paperwork to and from field staff while providing assistance to other crew members as needed. Physical demands range from sedentary office work to heavy tasks, requiring occasional lifting of up to 25 lb, climbing ladders or scaffolds, and navigating uneven, muddy, or rocky terrain under various weather conditions. The role also involves operating office equipment, maintaining balance on steel or wood structures, and sustained standing, walking, bending, or squatting. • Input employee time into timesheets. • Compare badge in/out times to supervisor-reported hours and identify discrepancies. • Investigate time errors and make manual adjustments as needed. • Distribute per diem and payroll checks. • Run absentee reports and enter excused absences. • Maintain documentation for employee files. • Collect and distribute paperwork between field employees and office.
