What You Bring

The position is primarily office‑based, requiring extensive use of fingers for typing, picking, and pinching, as well as visual acuity for computer work. Employees must be able to sit for extended periods, lift and push/pull up to 30 lb frequently and up to 50 lb occasionally, and may need to work weekends, overtime, overnight travel, or additional physical duties as required. • Communicate expectations clearly with team members and external clients. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and an NC Professional Engineer license. • Bring 8+ years of transportation roadway design experience, preferably with NCDOT projects. • Proficient in MicroStation and Geopak/ORD software. • Capable of lifting/pushing/pulling up to 30 lb regularly and up to 50 lb occasionally. • Available for weekend, overtime, overnight work, and travel as needed.
