About the Role

The manager prepares work plans and labor budgets, monitors schedules and capital cost budgets, and ensures quality control and productivity across assigned projects. Responsibilities include meeting profit and schedule goals, handling short‑deadline construction demands, participating in proposals and business development, defining team structures, leading meetings, negotiating scope changes, reviewing labor and cost reports, coordinating billing, mentoring junior staff, and adhering to health and safety programs. • Develop work plans and labor budgets; monitor schedules and costs. • Lead quality control/assurance and oversee project productivity. • Coordinate As‑built submittals and secure client approvals for scope changes. • Participate in proposal development and business development activities. • Conduct team meetings, negotiate with clients, and communicate project status. • Mentor junior staff and enforce health and safety standards.

What You Bring

Candidates need 8‑10+ years of experience in land surveying or a related field, with prior management of construction staking projects and crews, and a solid understanding of the construction industry. Preferred qualifications include professional licensure, a valid driver’s license, proficiency with Trimble Business Center, AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation, strong computer skills, extensive survey/engineering knowledge, analytical abilities, leadership capabilities, advanced written communication, and the ability to track milestones, budgets, and client interactions. • Require 8‑10+ years of land surveying experience and construction staking management. • Proficient with Trimble Business Center, AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation. • Hold a valid driver’s license; professional licensure preferred.
