About the Role

The Assembler II is responsible for meeting daily production goals while emphasizing safety, quality, delivery, inventory control, and productivity. The role focuses on assembling low‑voltage assemblies and includes tasks typical of an Assembler I, such as flex and lean operations and machine handling, as well as PowerWave2 hi‑pot testing, label creation, quality inspections, and material transactions in AS400. Key duties include using fixtures, gauges, and hand/air tools to assemble, adjust, or repair components; operating layout, drill, saw, punch, rivet, caulk, and paint equipment as needed; applying identification labels; retrieving and delivering materials to the line; preparing assemblies for shipment or storage; complying with safety policies, SOPs, and WSRA requirements; reading electrical and mechanical drawings; conducting visual inspections and quality checks; and flexing to other areas or roles when required. • Meet daily production targets with emphasis on safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity. • Assemble low‑voltage assemblies and operate assembly machines, including PowerWave2 hi‑pot testing. • Perform label creation, quality inspections, and material transactions using AS400. • Utilize fixtures, gauges, hand and air tools, and equipment such as drills, saws, punches, rivets, caulks, and paints. • Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings to guide assembly work. • Conduct visual inspections and quality checks to ensure specifications are met. • Follow standard operating procedures, safety policies, and WSRA requirements. • Retrieve, deliver, and stage materials for the assembly line and prepare finished assemblies for shipment or storage. • Flexibly assist in other areas or assume additional tasks as needed. • Maintain a clean, orderly, 5S‑plus work environment and work independently with minimal direction.

What You Bring

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and at least six months of manufacturing experience in an industrial setting, including hands‑on use of hand and air tools. Desired competencies include proven problem‑solving ability, teamwork, flexibility, a clean and safe 5S‑plus work environment, independent work with minimal direction, and physical capability to stand for long periods, lift up to 40 lb, and push or pull up to 100 lb. • Hold a high school diploma or GED and at least six months of industrial manufacturing experience. • Demonstrate proficiency with hand and air tools and problem‑solving skills. • Collaborate effectively with team members and adapt to process changes. • Physically capable of standing for long periods, lifting up to 40 lb, and pushing/pulling up to 100 lb.
