About the Role
• Follow Rogers Group safety principles and adopt the company’s safety culture. • Operate a front‑end loader to load shot rock, crushed stone, or overburden safely and efficiently. • Maintain a steady feed to the plant/crusher while minimizing downtime and spillage. • Perform plant maintenance and clean‑up tasks as needed. • Conduct daily pre‑shift equipment inspections and report mechanical issues. • Assist with haul‑road, loading‑area, and stockpile maintenance to ensure safe traffic flow. • Communicate with plant operators, haul‑truck drivers, and pit personnel using radios and hand signals.

What You Bring
• High school diploma or GED. • General mechanical knowledge and ability to maintain safe working conditions. • Reliable attendance; willingness to work overtime, weekends, or varied shifts as production demands. • Self‑starter capable of working with minimal supervision. • Physical ability to work outdoors in all weather and lift/move up to 50 lb. • Prior experience in a mining environment preferred. • Willingness to cross‑train and assist in other operational areas. • Ability to pass pre‑employment drug screening.

Benefits
This full‑time, second‑shift position offers weekly pay and may provide a higher starting rate for experienced candidates. The role is based at the Lacey’s Spring Quarry and reports to the pit supervisor.
