About the Role
NORESCO is seeking a Lead Senior Account Executive for the Massachusetts/New England territory. The role involves consulting‑style sales of energy infrastructure solutions to municipal, university, school and hospital (MUSH) customers, managing complex ESPC contracts and guiding clients toward decarbonization goals. The executive will act as a recognized industry leader, mentor junior staff and ensure seamless coordination between customers and internal project teams. • Sell and market energy infrastructure solutions to MUSH sector executives through long‑term contracts such as ESPCs. • Educate customers on government ESPC processes and identify new business opportunities. • Influence buying decisions by offering solutions that meet energy and decarbonization goals. • Represent NORESCO at conferences and trade associations as an ESCO thought leader. • Manage the sales funnel to meet strategic objectives and qualify opportunities with sound judgment. • Lead the development of competitive RFP/RFQ responses and coordinate capture win themes. • Build partnerships with sub‑contractors and coordinate internal strategy sessions for government opportunities. • Mentor junior Account Executives and serve as a customer advocate throughout the sales cycle. • Maintain post‑sale relationships to drive additional business and support state and local goals.

What You Bring
• Required: High School Diploma/GED and 7+ years selling to Municipal, University, School, or Hospital sectors. • Required: 5+ years experience selling to C‑level executives. • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years in MUSH ESPC, energy management consulting, or design‑build markets. • Proven ability to present and sell to city councils, school boards, and public forums. • Understanding of public procurement, building conservation measures, and water/wastewater markets. • Experience mentoring sales representatives.
