About the Role

The Leasing Manager oversees all leasing and marketing activities at a property, collaborating with the Community Manager to set leasing goals and develop strategic plans that achieve budgeted occupancy. This role leads the leasing team, ensures effective leasing processes, and cultivates positive resident relations. • Oversee leasing and marketing operations, set goals with Community Manager, and achieve budgeted occupancy. • Lead leasing team, ensure effective leasing techniques, accurate lease documentation, and audit files for compliance. • Address resident complaints and develop retention programs such as events, promotions, and newsletters. • Create and execute annual marketing plan and budget, design campaigns, and monitor traffic and renewal progress. • Conduct market surveys, maintain competitive product knowledge, and generate property traffic to meet occupancy targets. • Assist Community Manager in hiring, training, coaching, and performance management of on‑site staff. • Ensure staff adherence to company policies, provide ongoing coaching, and promote a harmonious work environment. • Manage customer service, monitor maintenance request response times, and oversee property appearance and repairs. • Supervise business functions related to operations and manage resources, vendor bids, and supplies economically.

What You Bring

• Minimum requirement: High School Diploma; Bachelor’s preferred; one year housing industry experience; basic computer and Fair Housing/OSHA knowledge. • Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb, climb ladders, work in various temperatures, and perform overtime or weekend duties as needed.
