• Lead and develop the local facilities team while managing specialist contractors. • Ensure building, plant, systems and equipment are safe, compliant and well maintained. • Own site compliance, audits and statutory obligations, including Legionella control. • Manage the facilities budget, reporting and asset data. • Collaborate with depot leadership to support safe, efficient train operations.

What You Bring
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead day‑to‑day operations at our Bounds Green Train Maintenance Centre in London. The role involves full accountability for site infrastructure, safety, compliance, contractor management and facilities budgeting within a safety‑critical rail environment. The ideal candidate has proven facilities‑management experience in an industrial or engineering setting, strong knowledge of compliance and asset management, and a proactive, hands‑on leadership style. Relevant qualifications such as BIFM, CIEH, IOSH, or equivalent experience are required. • Qualifications: BIFM Facilities Management, CIEH Environmental Workplace Safety, IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent). • Demonstrated experience in industrial/engineering facilities management and contractor control. • Strong people‑leadership skills with a proactive, hands‑on approach.
