About the Role
The Mechatronics & Robotics Technician supports the Operations Maintenance Team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment, pneumatic systems, and automated packaging and distribution equipment throughout the building. • Promote safety by following all procedures. • Perform preventative maintenance and document activities. • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on material handling equipment such as belts, motors, sensors, and relays. • Create, assign, and close work orders, tracking labor hours, parts, and equipment maintenance. • Manage department inventory. • Mentor junior technicians to develop their skills. • Maintain positive working relationships across the operations facility.

What You Bring
The role requires physical abilities including reaching overhead, kneeling, squatting, climbing ladders, using aerial lifts, and lifting up to 50 lb. Technicians work in a warehouse environment with variable temperatures, travel 6‑12 miles daily, and spend 1‑2 hours typing on a computer. • High school diploma or equivalent. • At least 2 years experience repairing material handling equipment or automated conveyor systems. • Minimum 2 years performing predictive and preventative maintenance. • 1+ year experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics. • Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles. • Experience with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project. • Ability to work flexible schedules or shifts. • Associate’s or higher degree in a mechanical or electrical field (preferred). • Familiarity with MHE safety standards per OEM and regulatory requirements (preferred). • Experience operating and maintaining robotic equipment (preferred). • Ability to troubleshoot basic input and output functions (preferred).
