About the Role
Our work spans energy, rail, highways, water, development and defence sectors, delivering multi‑year, multimillion‑dollar projects for major rail and transit agencies. The senior engineer will provide analytical and strategic expertise throughout every project stage, from concept through operation. • Lead and manage bridge and structure engineering projects from design through construction and maintenance. • Apply innovative engineering approaches in structural analysis, project control, and design solutions. • Communicate technical expertise to clients and colleagues via reports, drawings, and presentations. • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and development for junior engineers. • Produce drawings, risk assessments, specifications, and interdisciplinary reviews on multi‑discipline projects. • Utilize emerging tools and technologies, including AI, to deliver sustainable solutions.

What You Bring
• Hold a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Chartered status preferred. • Possess strong knowledge of Eurocodes, National Highways, Network Rail standards (AASHTO beneficial). • Commit to working 3‑4 days per week on‑site in St Albans. • Demonstrate a ‘right first time’ quality mindset and experience with bridge engineering.
