About the Role

Employees are responsible for product quality, accurate measuring techniques, tool care, and basic troubleshooting while supporting supervision, engineering, and quality teams. They must maintain an OSHA‑compliant safe workplace and may perform additional tasks to maximize asset utilization. Key duties involve testing and monitoring chemical components of paint‑line water tanks, maintaining chemical inventories, managing water‑treatment and disposal, and ensuring ergonomic and safety compliance with EHS coordination. In the fabrication shop, workers form, cut, and pierce metal, operate a range of hand and digital fabrication equipment, and use various measuring tools. • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics. • Ensure product quality, proper measurement, tool care, and basic troubleshooting. • Maintain OSHA‑compliant safe and healthful work environment. • Test and monitor chemical components (alkalinity, pressure, temperature) of paint‑line water tanks. • Replenish and maintain chemicals; manage water‑treatment and disposal systems. • Coordinate ergonomics, chemical use, tool management, and incident investigations with EHS. • Form, cut, pierce, and assemble metal using hand tools and complex fabrication machinery.

What You Bring

Candidates must pass a Work Keys assessment and have 1–2 years of experience in painting, welding, or fabrication. They need to read and interpret blueprints, perform basic shop math, and operate hand tools, air tools, gauges, and torque wrenches. The job requires independent work with initiative and problem‑solving skills.
