About the Role
• Design, develop, and maintain complex front‑end web applications using React and supporting technologies. • Build reusable, scalable components and ensure consistent UI/UX across products. • Integrate with backend services (Java/Node.js/Express/Python), RESTful APIs, and modern databases (MongoDB, Redis). • Implement AI‑enabled features in the UI such as intelligent search, recommendations, and chatbots. • Utilize OpenAI APIs (ChatGPT, embeddings, fine‑tuning) to build conversational and generative AI features. • Apply modern DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and cloud deployments. • Optimize application performance and manage cross‑browser compatibility issues. • Develop unit tests, test strategies, execute test cases, log issues, and recommend testing frameworks.
What You Bring
Equinix is seeking a talented and passionate developer with deep expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks, primarily React, as well as strong Node.js and AI technology experience. The role collaborates closely with product, design, and backend teams to build scalable, robust, and cutting‑edge web applications. The candidate will be responsible for integrating AI‑enabled features and ensuring high‑quality front‑end delivery. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. • 3–4 years of hands‑on front‑end development experience with React.js and JavaScript. • Proficiency in Node.js and familiarity with Express or similar frameworks. • Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and design principles. • Experience integrating AI‑driven solutions such as language models, recommendation systems, or analytics visualizations into web apps. • Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs, security, and scalability best practices. • Experience with version control (Git) and agile/scrum development environments. • Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills. • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). • Familiarity with Azure tools such as Azure Search Service, Blob Storage, Event Hub, Functions, Web App/Static Web App, and Gateway.
