About the Role
• Perform medical review of incoming charts to determine if additional medical information is needed. • Collaborate with physicians and internal nursing staff for chart review. • Conduct medical Quality Assurance (QA) on charts at various process stages. • Interface with client’s medical department and on‑site provider. • Contact examinee via telephone or email to clarify information needed for chart completion. • Develop strong understanding of contract guidelines and addendums. • Implement and follow up on requests for further evaluation from examinee when required. • Work closely with other departments to provide accurate and quality outcomes. • Organize workload to meet metrics and maintain cognizance of performance targets. • Learn and apply state and federal regulations relevant to contracts. • Serve as backup to other nurses for daily duties and assist with follow‑up calls to facilities and examinees. • Travel to and assist on medical mobile events as site lead or RN, schedule permitting. • Participate in interdepartmental project groups or task forces to integrate activities, resolve issues, and stay informed on new developments and policy requirements. • Support marketing and sales objectives as requested. • Perform duties safely, follow corporate safety policy, participate in safety meetings, and maintain a clean work area. • Identify "close calls" or safety concerns and report to supervisory personnel. • Assist in implementing company initiatives to ensure compliance with OSHA VPP, ISO, JCAHO, AAAHC, and other regulations. • Serve on OSHA VPP, Safety, and Wellness Committees as needed.

What You Bring
Under general supervision of the Program Manager (PM) and reporting to the PM, the Medical Review Nurse (MRN) is responsible for the initial chart review and chart case management for medical exam/screening programs to verify that all medical information and exam components are accurate. The RN works directly with physicians and examinees to ensure all medical information is gathered and performs medical quality assurance on all charts in various process stages leading to a final determination. Candidates must be local to the Cape Canaveral, Florida area. • Master software programs specific to exam program operations. • 5‑7 years of relevant experience. • Unencumbered nursing license. • Proficiency with computer, common office equipment, and MS Office. • Ability to multitask, be flexible, organized, and possess excellent oral and written communication skills with strong attention to detail. • COHN‑S and/or CAOHC certifications (preferred). • Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience (preferred). • Flexibility and availability to travel and support medical mobile events as site lead or RN (preferred). • Work in typical interior/office environment, involving prolonged sitting and standing. • May require bending and lifting up to 15 lb. • Constant use of computer and common office equipment.
