About the Role
The Technical Sales Representative will drive business growth and development by selling Ground Support products and supporting the Canadian team. The role is a stable, permanent position within a respected and expanding organization. Responsibilities include identifying prospective customers, setting business plan objectives, delivering training and product demonstrations, and conducting underground pull tests and installation audits. The representative will analyze competitors, create action plans for their territory, and maintain regular mine‑site visits to gather insights for forecasting and innovative solutions. • Identify and meet prospective customers to assess needs and generate new sales opportunities. • Set business plan objectives and benchmarks for marketing and sales initiatives. • Deliver training programs and conduct presentations/demonstrations for end‑users. • Perform underground pull tests, installation audits and provide detailed reports. • Analyze competitors to position Sandvik’s products effectively. • Develop and execute action plans for territory to meet sales goals. • Conduct regular mine‑site visits with superintendents, engineering and purchasing teams. • Follow the annual technical sales program and maintain industry contacts. • Investigate product non‑conformances, determine root causes and implement corrective actions. • Use sales reports and ERP systems for quoting, order entry and monthly business activity reporting.

What You Bring
The role requires adherence to company values and policies, as well as the ability to prepare quotes, manage order entry in ERP systems, and report monthly on business activity. The employee is expected to demonstrate problem‑solving skills, teamwork, and a proactive learning attitude. Candidates should have 3‑5 years of sales or marketing experience in a related field, strong presentation and customer‑relations abilities, and be mechanically inclined.
