About the Role
• Guide the design, implementation and deployment of new features and services • Collaborate with Customer Support to resolve subscription-related issues and improve customer experience • Partner with Finance to streamline billing, invoicing, and revenue recognition for SaaS products • Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of SaaS subscriptions, including onboarding, renewals, and cancellations • Work with a cross-functional team of product managers, designers, engineers and QA • Advocate for good engineering practices • Generate complete user stories for the development team • Respond to and assist with issues raised by internal and external groups • Hold regular stakeholder/grooming meetings to update project progress • Document user requirements and business rules for application development

What You Bring
The Technical Business Analyst will join Matterport’s Business Services team in Irvine, CA, working in a middleware layer that connects the Matterport Platform to internal and group-wide systems. The role focuses on managing large‑scale integrations with financial and sales back‑end systems, optimizing SaaS subscription onboarding, billing, and renewal processes, and ensuring seamless collaboration with Customer Support and Finance. Strong communication, problem‑solving, and the ability to prioritize and refine requirements for engineering teams are essential in this fast‑paced environment. • Bachelor's degree from an accredited, in‑person college or university • Track record of commitment to prior employers • Significant experience designing and delivering cloud‑based features using modern OOP languages and tooling • Experience with CRM and ERP systems such as Salesforce and NetSuite • Experience defining and working with order‑to‑cash processes • Leadership experience in fast‑paced Agile Scrum environments • Strong project management skills • Experience with technical documentation or product use case writing • Proven ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams to achieve business outcomes • Excellent written and verbal communication tailored to stakeholders, peers, and senior management • Ability to identify improvement opportunities and implement changes • Deep experience with agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe • Familiarity with Microsoft stack technologies including C#, .NET Core, and Microsoft business applications • Proven track record of defining priorities, building business cases, and navigating trade‑off discussions with stakeholders • Solid software development experience in cloud‑based microservice environments using modern tooling and best practices • Experience with SaaS subscription management, billing systems, or customer support platforms
