About the Role

• Oversee CMT projects, review technical reports, prepare proposals, and manage department P&L. • Provide technical expertise and mentor CMT staff through training and development. • Mentor junior project managers and collaborate on staffing decisions with managers and recruiters. • Host or attend client project meetings and deliver technical resolutions. • Market services, establish new client relationships, and maintain existing ones. • Maintain professional licensure (PE or PG) and senior reviewer designation.

ECS Limited offers a unique opportunity for an experienced Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Associate Principal to join the Long Beach field services team. In this dynamic work environment, the role is primarily responsible for quality and supervision of performance on a variety of projects, consulting with clients and project teams to ensure project goals and deadlines are met from proposal through final review. • Hold a B.S. in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering and Management, Materials Science Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Geology. • Minimum of 8 years experience drafting, reviewing, and approving technical reports. • Keep all required licenses and certifications; possess a valid driver’s license and insurance. • Demonstrate strong marketing skills and ability to build client relationships. • Exhibit excellent communication, leadership, decision‑making, safety, and professionalism. • Expert knowledge of CMT principles, applications, and ASTM laboratory standards.
