About the Role
The role involves assisting in the repair and overhaul of refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment to meet customer needs efficiently, accurately, and on time. Key responsibilities include repairing and overhauling compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and control devices; performing general HVAC repairs; conducting preventative maintenance and diagnosing equipment malfunctions; testing systems using electrical and mechanical skills; maintaining accurate service records; processing job tickets and work orders; supporting case delivery and installation; handling minor construction and remodeling projects; and safely operating a company vehicle. • Repair and overhaul compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and HVAC control devices • Perform preventative maintenance and diagnose equipment malfunctions • Test systems using electrical and mechanical skills • Maintain accurate service records and process job tickets efficiently • Support case delivery, installation, and minor construction projects • Drive company vehicle safely

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED, possess EPA certification, and have 3‑4 years of commercial refrigeration experience. Experience with convenience‑store or supermarket systems, single and rack units, display cases, and walk‑in boxes is a strong plus. Applicants need a good driving record, the ability to work independently, on‑call emergency availability, and the physical capability to lift up to 60 lb and stand or sit for extended periods. • High school diploma or GED and EPA certification required • 3‑4 years commercial refrigeration experience; experience in convenience stores or supermarkets preferred • Familiarity with single and rack systems, display cases, and walk‑in units • Good driving record, ability to work independently, and emergency on‑call availability • Physical ability to lift up to 60 lb and stand or sit for extended periods
