About the Role
The Service Technician assists in repairing and overhauling refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment, handling compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and control devices safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, diagnosing malfunctions, testing systems with electrical and mechanical skills, and maintaining accurate corporate and personal work records. The role also involves processing job tickets and work orders, handling material delivery and installation, supporting minor construction and startup projects, and driving the company vehicle responsibly. • Repair and overhaul refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment, including compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and control devices. • Perform preventative maintenance and diagnose equipment malfunctions. • Test systems using electrical and mechanical skills while maintaining accurate work records. • Process job tickets and work orders, and assist with material handling and installations. • Support minor construction, remodeling, and startup projects, and drive the company vehicle safely. • Maintain a clean driving record, lift up to 60 lb unassisted, and be available for emergency on‑call service.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and EPA certification, with at least three years of commercial refrigeration experience. Experience with convenience‑store or supermarket refrigeration, single and rack systems, display cases, and walk‑in units is highly valued. Applicants need a clean driving record, the ability to lift up to 60 lb unassisted, and must be available for emergency on‑call service.
