About the Role
As a Field Specialist – Intelligent Production System/Upper Completion, you will be a vital member of the Completions and Well Interventions team, responsible for installing completion equipment—particularly upper completions and intelligent production systems—at offshore and on‑shore well sites. Your duties include running medium to high‑risk applications such as gauges, intelligent well systems, and fiber optics; installing equipment following technical documentation; preparing, assembling, and testing completions/IPS equipment to required workshop standards; collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to design and execute optimal solutions; and ensuring all supplied equipment is compatible with well parameters and other installed hardware. This is a live‑in‑country position based in Australia, working on‑call at customers' rig sites without a fixed rotation schedule (not a Fly‑In‑Fly‑Out role). Flexibility in work schedule and the ability to respond to on‑site needs are essential. • Perform medium to high risk installations of gauges, intelligent well systems, and fiber optics on offshore and onshore wells. • Prepare, assemble, and test completion and IPS equipment to workshop standards. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and execute optimal solutions. • Verify equipment compatibility with well parameters and other installed hardware. • Maintain 24‑hour on‑call availability and adhere to competency development schedules. • Work on a live‑in, on‑call basis at Australian rig sites (non‑fly‑in‑fly‑out).

What You Bring
The role requires a technical diploma or equivalent technical knowledge, coupled with 10+ years of field experience in completion tools and accessories. You must demonstrate strong mechanical and electronic aptitude, be available for 24‑hour call‑out as needed, maintain up‑to‑date competencies, and possess effective computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office. • Hold a technical diploma or equivalent experience with 10+ years in oilfield completion tools. • Demonstrate strong mechanical and electronic aptitude and proficient use of Microsoft Office. • Enjoy contemporary work‑life balance policies and wellbeing activities.
