About the Role
The Assistant Project Manager II (APM II) supports the Project Manager by coordinating engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction activities throughout project development and execution. The role assists in schedule development, value‑engineering reviews, and financial close‑outs, and may act as the PM when required. The APM II can be assigned to multiple projects simultaneously and may rotate through operational support groups. • Coordinate engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction activities during project development and execution • Assist the PM in developing the initial project schedule with cross‑functional teams • Participate in value engineering and constructability reviews • Develop subcontractor and vendor scopes of work and schedule contract exhibits for PM review • Collaborate with Safety personnel to create and implement project‑specific safety plans and incident reporting • Prepare monthly project review reports for management and senior leadership • Conduct financial reviews and close‑outs on a monthly basis • Submit RFIs using QISG’s document management system • Provide feedback to improve quality of technical, commercial, and administrative deliverables • Assist in procuring purchase orders and subcontract packages • Monitor progress of design, procurement, and construction activities • Facilitate project close‑out and warranty administration • Perform post‑construction cost reviews, reporting, and lessons‑learned participation • Adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures

What You Bring
Travel is required for up to 50 % of the time, depending on project needs. • Self‑starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong problem evaluation and solving skills • Understand project design processes and integrated EPC workflows • Knowledge of construction means and methods • Interact effectively and professionally with team members • Proficient in Microsoft Office and strong computer skills • Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Familiarity with estimating, scheduling, and project management software
