About the Role

In this role you will drive quality for machining suppliers, implement quality plans, conduct comprehensive audits, apply DMAIC/APOLLO RCA methodologies for root cause analysis, and mentor suppliers to meet delivery and compliance targets while monitoring key performance metrics. • Perform supplier quality assurance for machining category supporting India regional growth. • Improve supplier quality performance from FPQ to serial production. • Onboard new suppliers using scorecards and ensure compliance. • Conduct process, product, and system audits and drive corrective actions. • Lead root cause analysis using DMAIC/APOLLO RCA methodologies. • Mentor suppliers to meet delivery schedules and compliance standards. • Track and report metrics for quality, delivery, cost of quality, and RCA effectiveness.

What You Bring

Candidates should hold a mechanical engineering degree and have at least eight years of experience in supplier quality or manufacturing, preferably with gas‑turbine blades or rotating equipment, strong knowledge of machining, casting, and forging processes, and familiarity with international standards such as ASTM, IEC, and CE, as well as GD&T and FMEA techniques. • Mechanical engineering degree with 8+ years in supplier quality or manufacturing. • Experience with gas turbine blades or rotating equipment (motors, generators, GT). • Strong knowledge of machining, casting, forging processes and materials. • Proficiency with international standards (ASTM, IEC, ANSI, CE, etc.) and GD&T. • Ability to conduct FMEA and develop inspection/measurement systems. • Green Belt certification (Black Belt preferred) and solid project management skills. • Willingness to travel locally and internationally; excellent communication abilities.
