About the Role

A Driver with a Class B CDL (or higher) is responsible for safely operating a collection truck and delivering prompt, courteous waste removal services. The driver must ensure the vehicle complies with company safety standards and all applicable state and federal regulations, completing daily vehicle condition reports to address any defects promptly. Key duties include conducting thorough pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections, following assigned route sheets to service customers, operating the truck’s manual or automatic controls to lift, load, compact, and unload waste, and interacting professionally with customers and dispatchers. Drivers also identify and tag unsatisfactory containers, clean accidental spills, monitor vehicle condition throughout the day, and complete required productivity and documentation reports while adhering to safety policies and the ReSOP program. • Perform pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections and report safety issues. • Follow route sheets and maps to service each customer on the assigned route. • Operate manual/automatic controls to lift, load, compact, and unload waste. • Provide courteous, professional interaction with customers and dispatchers. • Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers per departmental procedures. • Clean accidental waste spills following safety standards. • Monitor and maintain vehicle condition, cleaning packer blade and truck body each trip. • Complete required route productivity sheets, vehicle condition reports (VCRs), and other documentation. • Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and the ReSOP program. • Uphold company policies, safety standards, and take pride in work performance. • Participate in the Employee and Family Assistance Program (EAP).

What You Bring

Applicants must hold a Class B Commercial Driver’s License with an air‑brake endorsement and demonstrate strong customer service, time‑management, and follow‑through abilities.
