About the Role

The Assistant Project Manager (Civil) supports the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing all phases of construction projects. This role ensures projects are delivered safely, on time, within scope, budget, and quality standards, and involves hands‑on site supervision, contractor coordination, documentation management, and stakeholder communication. The position covers a broad range of responsibilities including project planning and execution, site supervision, documentation, budgeting, procurement, quality and safety compliance, and client and stakeholder coordination. The incumbent works closely with design consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to keep projects aligned with schedules and specifications. • Assist Project Manager in developing schedules, budgets, and execution plans; coordinate with designers, contractors, and vendors. • Monitor daily site progress, report schedule or quality deviations, and support resource allocation. • Supervise civil and structural works, conduct inspections, ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety standards. • Coordinate with MEP, interior, and finishing teams for seamless execution and propose solutions to site challenges. • Prepare and maintain daily progress reports, snag lists, inspection records; manage contractor submittals, RFIs, material approvals, and meeting minutes. • Support quantity take‑offs, BOQ verification, cost tracking; review contractor bills, certify measurements, and recommend payments. • Coordinate procurement for timely delivery of materials and equipment. • Ensure adherence to quality control procedures and construction safety standards; support HSE plan implementation and closure of NCRs. • Support client meetings, coordinate with consultants, communicate project progress, and assist in handover and close‑out documentation.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate possesses strong technical knowledge of civil and structural works, excellent coordination and documentation skills, and the ability to interpret drawings and specifications. Proficiency in scheduling tools such as MS Project or Primavera, strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities, and working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office are required. • Strong technical knowledge in civil and structural works. • Excellent project coordination and documentation skills. • Ability to interpret drawings and specifications. • Proficiency in MS Project / Primavera (preferred). • Strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities. • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office. • Experience with large‑scale commercial, IT park, or corporate interior projects. • Knowledge of LEED/green building practices (advantage). • Familiarity with contract administration and vendor management. • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (Master’s in project or construction management preferred). • 5–10 years civil construction or project management experience, preferably in commercial/industrial/real‑estate projects. • Good understanding of civil drawings, structural works, finishing activities, and project sequencing. • Experience managing contractors, consultants, and clients on‑site. • Skilled in preparing technical reports, progress documentation, material submittal reviews, and MEP‑related billing verification.
