About the Role
Each day you will service trucks and equipment that support millions of customers across the United States, using modern tools and procedures on both diesel and, at some locations, CNG fleets. • Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems • Estimate time and material costs for repairs and parts • Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs) • Respond to emergency service calls and breakdowns • Conduct safety checks on all vehicles • Complete paperwork documenting parts usage and labor hours • Assist senior mechanics with project work • Review and address items from Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports • Maintain a clean, OSHA‑compliant work area

What You Bring
The work environment requires frequent lifting, standing, walking, and occasional climbing, and you will be exposed to typical shop hazards such as noise, chemicals, and outdoor weather conditions. Safety and cleanliness are integral to daily operations. The position may require air travel or access to federal property, so candidates must possess a REAL ID or an accepted TSA‑approved alternative. • Minimum two years of relevant diesel mechanic experience • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record • Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States • Ability to meet physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation • Pass pre‑employment drug screening and physical examination • Team‑oriented attitude and willingness to support coworkers • Ability to work independently and handle varied daily challenges • Strong problem‑solving skills and determination
