About the Role

The role involves ensuring the integrity and functionality of low voltage electrical assemblies through thorough testing and verification. Responsibilities include detecting and diagnosing issues, complying with safety standards, and maintaining high-quality performance. The technician inspects and electrically tests products on all lines per work instructions and governmental requirements, confirming function against test scripts and documenting results. Additional duties include programming controllers, conducting mechanical and electrical inspections, reading technical schematics, and following test procedures with equipment such as Hi-Pot testers and torque wrenches. The technician performs final and in‑process inspections across multiple product lines to guarantee quality and meets customer, safety, and quality specifications. • Test and verify low voltage electrical assemblies for functionality and safety. • Detect, diagnose, and document product non-conformances per inspection checklists. • Perform electrical inspections using Hi-Pot, continuity, and component-specific testers. • Program controllers and conduct mechanical and electrical audits of assemblies. • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and engineering drawings. • Verify torque specifications with torque wrenches according to inspection instructions. • Conduct final and in-process inspections across multiple product lines. • Ensure compliance with UL, NEC, regional utility, and customer-specific codes.

What You Bring

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of electrical testing experience, with two or more years preferred in a quality or electrical tester role in manufacturing. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, be computer literate, and possess strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. Knowledge of basic electricity, schematics, UL, NEC, and regional codes is essential. • Minimum high school diploma/GED; 1+ year electrical testing experience; 2+ years in quality/electrical tester preferred. • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship; computer literate. • Strong verbal and written communication, persuasive, and analytical problem-solving skills. • Ability to work effectively in team environments.
