About the Role
The Maintenance Tech II is responsible for maintaining guestrooms, public spaces, and back‑of‑the‑house areas in good repair, with a primary focus on guest relations and problem resolution. Assignments include painting, stucco, texturing, drywall, staining, and ceiling work, as well as routine equipment upkeep and preventative maintenance. • Interact with guests to resolve maintenance issues • Troubleshoot and repair basic appliances and air‑conditioning controls • Perform drywall, painting, staining, and wall‑vinyl repairs • Diagnose and fix plumbing fixtures, including drain cleaning and filter changes • Replace caulk, tile, grout, and door hardware; repair locks and hinges • Inspect rooms for pest intrusion and replace cosmetic appliance components • Replace light bulbs, ballasts, and remote‑control batteries • Repair closet and drapery tracks; stain furniture and mend surface damage • Execute scheduled preventative maintenance and replace faulty plumbing components • Maintain accurate logs and inspection sheets in English • Communicate clearly with engineering leadership and assist teammates on special projects • Meet physical requirements: climb ladders up to 40 ft, lift/carry up to 50 lb, push/pull up to 100 lb

What You Bring
The role requires effective verbal and written communication in English, a team‑first attitude, and the physical ability to climb ladders up to 40 feet, lift or carry up to 50 lb, and push/pull up to 100 lb. A minimum of two years’ facilities‑maintenance experience and a high‑school diploma or GED are required, with three to five years of related experience and a current driver’s license considered advantageous. • Unclog toilets and sinks; touch‑up paint and glue peeling wallpaper • Demonstrate a team‑first attitude and strong communication skills • Possess at least 2 years of facilities‑maintenance experience and a high‑school diploma or GED • Hold a current state driver’s license and 3‑5 years of related experience (advantageous)
