What You Bring
We are seeking an entry‑level Transit/Rail Engineer to join our growing Transit and Rail practice in North Carolina. The role begins in Spring/Summer 2026 and offers the chance to work alongside experienced engineers on freight rail, light rail, streetcar, commuter rail, BRT, and multimodal corridor projects. • Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering. • Preferred: EIT/FE certification, strong communication skills, organized, proficient with office software. • Willingness to travel as required; Master’s degree and rail experience are a plus.

Benefits
The position is hybrid, located at AECOM’s Raleigh office (5438 Wade Park Blvd), with a salary range of $65,000‑$80,000 per year. Relocation assistance and US work‑authorization sponsorship are not available.
