About the Role
The intern will provide financial services support to profit centers, performing accounting functions such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, reconciliation, and special services. Core duties include assisting with billing requirements, processing vendor and subcontractor invoices, supporting the monthly close, and handling audit requests. • Assist accountant to meet client billing and accounts receivable contractual requirements. • Process vendor invoices and keep accounts payable up to date for assigned projects. • Handle subcontractor invoices, ensuring lien waivers, contracts, and insurance are in place. • Support monthly close by posting or accruing client bills and project costs. • Respond to internal and external audit requests as needed. • Enter project-specific vendor invoice data and prepare multi‑project invoices for central processing. • Perform administrative tasks related to invoice processing, such as vendor setup, tax reporting, and managing client tax‑exempt certificates. • Compile supporting documentation to prepare Turner owner applications for payment. • Provide periodic progress reports to the supervisor. • Apply academic knowledge to real‑world finance tasks and adhere to company policies and professional conduct. • Maintain professional relationships with employees, customers, and other stakeholders. • Participate in conferences and learning opportunities offered by the company.

What You Bring
