About the Role
The Lifeguard will work with a strong team in a beautiful outdoor setting, upholding the safety standards and hospitality expected of Discovery Land Company. Duties include supervising aquatic areas, managing risk, and maintaining a safety‑first environment for members and guests. • Monitor pool, lake, and water slide areas continuously to ensure member and guest safety. • Identify hazards, prevent incidents, and respond quickly to emergencies. • Enforce all safety rules respectfully and report issues to the Head Lifeguard. • Maintain clean, organized aquatic areas and manage equipment setup and breakdown. • Provide first aid, CPR/AED assistance, and participate in emergency drills. • Work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and varied weather conditions.

What You Bring
Silo Ridge Field Club is seeking a seasonal Lifeguard for its Outdoor Pursuits Department, working from May 18 through September 28, 2026. A current lifeguard certification is required. The role supports safe operation of the pool, lakefront, beach, and water slide, and is ideal for individuals who take pride in professional lifeguarding. Candidates should possess a current lifeguard certification, CPR/AED/First Aid certification, and preferably two years of experience in an aquatic environment. Strong communication skills, professional demeanor, and the ability to follow directions in English are required, with additional languages considered a plus. • Hold current lifeguard certification and CPR/AED/First Aid certification. • Preferably have at least two years of experience in an aquatic environment. • Demonstrate professional demeanor, strong communication, and teamwork skills.
