What You Bring
Kimley‑Horn’s Houston, Texas office is seeking a Civil Engineer with four or more years of experience to join the Land Development team. The role is on‑site and not remote. Candidates need at least four years of relevant design experience and a Professional Engineering license (or ability to obtain one within 12 months). Required skills include site civil design, permitting, hydrology and storm‑drainage modeling, AutoCAD Civil 3D, utility layout, and the ability to produce construction documents and manage client interactions. • 4+ years of engineering design experience. • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or ability to obtain within 12 months. • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, hydrology and storm‑drainage modeling software. • Experience in site civil design, utilities, drainage, due diligence, and permitting. • Ability to create construction documents and manage client meetings.
