About the Role
The Driver – CDL (B) is responsible for safely operating a collection truck and delivering prompt, courteous waste removal services to customers. The role also includes ensuring the vehicle meets the company’s safety standards, complying with all relevant regulations, and completing daily vehicle condition reports. Key duties involve performing comprehensive pre‑ and post‑operation inspections, reading route sheets, and operating the truck to service each customer as assigned. The driver loads, compacts, and transports waste to the designated disposal site while monitoring for unsafe containers, tagging them, and cleaning any accidental spills according to safety policies. Documentation such as route productivity sheets and VCRs are completed each day to support operational efficiency. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections, checking tire pressure, fluids, safety equipment, and controls. • Operate the collection truck along assigned routes, load, compact, and transport waste to disposal sites. • Interact courteously with customers, tag unsatisfactory containers, and clean accidental spills per safety protocols. • Complete daily vehicle condition reports, route productivity sheets, and other required documentation. • Adhere to all company, state, and federal safety regulations and participate in the ReSOP safety program.

What You Bring
The position requires strong customer‑service skills, effective time management, and the ability to follow company policies and safety standards without taking inappropriate risks. Candidates must hold a Class B or higher CDL with an air‑brake endorsement; two years of commercial truck driving experience is preferred. A professional, honest, and prideful work attitude is essential for meeting productivity and safety goals. • Hold a Class B (or higher) Commercial Driver’s License with an air‑brake endorsement; two years of commercial truck driving experience preferred. • Demonstrate strong customer service, time management, and a commitment to safety and company policies.

Compensation is union‑hourly pay at $35.93 with eligibility for a bonus plan.
